PJDay BookWeek 2017

Book Week this year was celebrated so brilliantly across both campuses at Frayne.

On the Balmoral Campus there was something for the students to do every day, from talks with authors to costume parades and a Prep-School pyjama day! Staff worked tirelessly for the week to ensure the students immersed themselves in literature of all kinds and parents tried hard to remember all the things their kids were getting up to (as well as producing some excellent costumes). The students had a wonderful time and it was beautiful to see them celebrate the wonder of books.

Prep BookWeek 2017

Up on the Duncan Campus, Book Week was celebrated through a BookFace competition which drew some fantastic entries. Congratulations to all of the student entries; they’re inspired pieces of work. The Kitchen Operations and Hospitality students, under the instruction of their awesome teachers, put on a beautiful morning tea in the library which was attended by a select group of English students and staff. As always the food was delicious and the service of a high standard; they should be proud of their efforts. In addition, there was a Pop-Up book store in the Library on Friday, where students got to purchase their own books or assist with choosing the books we get for the library!
